Wang of Wanda regains top spot: Forbes rich list

Wang Jianlin, chairman of real estate firm Dalian Wanda Group, again became the richest person in the Chinese mainland, with a fortune of $24.2 billion, according to a Forbes rich list released on Monday. Wang ranks 29th on the global list, according to Forbes.

Founder of e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Jack Ma Yun is the second-richest person on the Chinese mainland rich list, with $22.7 billion.

Li Hejun, chairman of clean energy firm Hanergy Holding Group, ranks third among mainland billionaires with $21.1 billion, according to Forbes.

Bill Gates tops the global rich list with wealth of $79.2 billion.
