Chinese real estate tycoon Wang Jianlin plans to buy a 20-percent stake in Spanish league champions Atletico Madrid, media reported on Monday.
Madrid sports daily AS said Wang planned to pay 40 million euros (46 million US dollars) for the stake.
Various media reported that Atletico chairman Enrique Cerezo will travel to Beijing this week to close the deal with Wang. They were expected to sign the deal on Wednesday.
