The gold price in Hong Kong closed higher at 11,076 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, up 21 HK dollars per tael from the previous trading day, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to 1,199.66 U.S. dollars a troy ounce at the latest exchange rate of 1 US dollar against 7.75 HK dollars.
