Vanke sees slower growth

Property developer China Vanke Co Ltd posted on Thursday slower growth in sales value for the first eight months of this year amid a cooling home market nationwide.

The value of homes sold by Vanke in the January-August period rose 14.6 percent from a year ago to 129.4 billion yuan ($21 billion), slower than the 20.6 percent growth seen in the first half of the year.
