Foxconn Shenzhen worker suicide

An employee of a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group that was found dead in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province, committed suicide, Chinese media reported Wednesday.

A representative of Foxconn Technology said on Wednesday that the residential building is not owned by the company, without commenting further.

In a statement released Tuesday, the company said that a 22-year-old male employee was found dead outside a residential building near its Shenzhen manufacturing facility, without specifying the cause of death.
