Premier Li on Sino-US ties

Sound Sino-US relations will maximize the benefits of globalization for the two countries, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said at a meeting on Tuesday with leaders from the American Chamber of Commerce and former top US officials.

China and the US should make efforts in trusting each other more, deepening cooperation and limiting their conflicts, Li said.

The two countries should encourage businesses and think tanks to communicate more in the future, he added.

China will improve the market environment, and treat all domestic and foreign companies the same way, the premier said.

He also said the country is willing to be a contributor to and participant in the construction of a new global trade system.
