Mengniu profit, revenue rise in 2013

China Mengniu Dairy Co made 1.63 billion yuan ($262.5 million) in profit in 2013, a 25.2 percent year-on-year increase, according to Mengniu's 2013 financial report filed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Wednesday.

In 2013, Mengniu saw total revenue of 43.36 billion yuan, 20.4 percent up year-on-year, according to the report.

Mengniu implemented strategies including seeking control of upstream milk sources and cooperating with overseas companies in 2013, the report said.
