Alipay app in over 5,000 Beijing taxis

Alipay said Thursday that its Alipay wallet app service has been implemented in more than 5,000 taxis in Beijing, and the figure is expected to be doubled soon.

Alipay said the taxi service is part of its strategy connecting the online services with the offline world, and the services will be expanded to more cities in the future.
