Head of China's non-governmental chamber of commerce, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said today at the sideline of the two sessions that the country's non-public economy contributed over 60 percent to its GDP, and created more than 80 percent of jobs in 2012. Wang Qinmin said there is still large room for the sector to expand.

Wang Qinmin, Chairman of All-China Federation of Indus. & Commerce, said, "The dividends brought by the reforms will continue to stimulate productivity. The general situation of economic restructuring and transformation of the country's development will also promote the non-public economic sector. Urbanization could boost infrastructure construction and thereby expand the market for the private economy. Government's effort to improve the people's livelihood will unleash huge domestic demand. Besides, Chinese companies are willing to tap overseas markets and be a part of the economic globalization."
