China' s top banking officials say relevant credit policies on housing still need some deliberation. Yi Gang, vice governor of China's central bank, says the details that are still being mulled include the minimum down-payment amount and loan rates.
The Vice Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission, Cai Esheng, echoed that sentiment. He says regulations governing second home purchases should take into consideration factors like home prices in first, second and third-tier cities, as well as individual income levels.
