China: Climate fund must be met at any cost

Vice Chairman of China's National Development and Reform Commission Xie Zhenhua says the huge demand for proper funds must be met by countries both developed and developing at any cost. He is heading the Chinese delegation at this meeting of the BASIC group of countries.

Xie said, "As for financing, all of us already reached the decision that from 2013 to 2015 the total financial support from developed countries should not be less than the level of the fast start fund. Now what we need to do as developing countries, is just wait and see what developed countries will do."
