China needs to adjust growth model & boost domestic demand

CCTV has also interviewed Stephen Roach, former chief economist of Morgan Stanley, about his advice for China's future economic growth path. He says China needs to adjust its own growth model and boost domestic demand.

Stephen Roach said, "China's current economic model has been efficiently running for more than 30 years. Now it needs to be rebalanced. The 18th CPC National Congress should focus on carrying out the plan, and the new leaders should better practice twelfth Five-Year Program. It needs sustainable efforts and major reform, and it should be as soon as possible."
