Chinese stocks closed slightly lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.01 percent, or 0.27 point, to 2,105.73.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,561.2, down 28.67 points, or 0.33 percent.
