The Shenzhen Component Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 8,193.37 on Wednesday, down 90.87 points, or 1.1 percent.

A Share Index: 9,105.65 points, down 100.99 points, or 1.1 percent;

B Share Index: 3,790.89 points, down 22.7 points, or 0.6 percent;

Total turnover: 39.71 billion yuan (6.26 billion U.S. dollars).
