Gu Yijing, born in 1989 and a native of Shanghai, competes in Shanghai’s annual charity event "Brawl on the Bund” June 6, 2015. Gu won the second runner-up spot in Miss Earth China 2014, an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. She became interested in boxing by chance and is actively practicing in the sport, which she says helps release stress and improve her self-awareness.
