A total of 342 items including copper unicorns, elaborately-carved saddles and colored terra-cotta figures found along the ancient Tea Horse Road are on display in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The ancient Tea Horse Road for centuries was a trade link between China's Yunnan, Sichuan, Tibet and several Asian countries, and was the route along which the Buddhism was introduced to China.

The items show the connections among countries along the ancient trading route, which played an important role in political, economic, social and cultural communication, according to Liaoning Province Museum.
