A Taiwan resident is currently under investigation for suspicion of endangering national security, said Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council on Wednesday at a routine press conference.

Ma was responding to questions about reports that Lee Ming-che, a former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) worker, went missing after entering southern China's Guangdong from Macao.

Lee is in good condition, added Ma.
