Seven workers have been trapped after a highway tunnel collapsed during construction in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. in a tunnel along the Zhipu expressway, a 51-kilometer highway under construction in the province.
Bijie City, where the tunnel is located, has sent rescuers to bring the trapped workers out.
The cause of the collapse is not yet known, but it had been raining before the accident.
