An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 19km ENE of Sungjibaegam, Democratic People's Republic of Korea at 01:30:02 GMT Wednesday (09:30:02 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 41.3263 degrees north latitude and 129.0103 degrees east longitude.
