    Things you should know about Paris attacks so far

    The shootings and explosions on Friday in Paris, France have killed at least 120 people till Saturday. Below is a list of the latest development on the deadly terror attacks.

    -- More than 100 hostages were killed at Theater Bataclan in Paris, where security forces launched assault to rescue them;

    -- At least two explosions were heard near the national stadium Stade de France where a France-Germany soccer match was being played;

    -- French President Francois Hollande said at Betaclan concert hall that France will be ruthless in fighting against terrorists, and canceled his trip to G20 meeting in Turkey;

    -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday expressed the "strongest" condemnation over the series of terror attacks in Paris, saying China always opposes all forms of terrorism and is willing to work with France and the international community to enhance cooperation in security, fight terrorism and ensure safety of people in all countries;

    -- The Chinese embassy in Paris issued a security alert late Friday and asked Chinese nationals in France to stay indoors and pay close attention to police information and local media reports about the incidents;

    -- Witness described hostage situation at Paris theater as a "bloodbath." Paris schools, universities, public transport will close on Saturday;

    -- One World Trade Center was lit up in France's tricolors Friday night: red, white and blue;

    -- Eight attackers died, and the hunt continues for possible accomplices;

    -- American Airlines said it is delaying flights to Paris until there is additional information on "tragic situation";

    -- Facebook activates "Safety Check" for users during Paris attacks;

    -- U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday condemned the deadly attacks, calling it "an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians";

    -- UN chief Ban Ki-moon on Friday condemned "the despicable terrorist attacks carried out in various locations in and around Paris" and demanded "the immediate release of the numerous individuals reportedly being held hostage in the Bataclan theater";

    -- Paris Deputy Mayor said it is a "terrible, terrible situation ... a tragedy we are facing."
