Chinese tourists are known to come in groups, but few groups can be bigger than this one.

Infinitus, a health product company, will be sending 12,000 salespeople to Thailand for a free holiday, the company's marketing chief said on Thursday.

The 12,000, divided into six batches, will be flown to Thailand on 95 flights. The company has booked 5,800 rooms in 21 hotels.

Infinitus said tourism authorities and businesses in Thailand have always welcomed the company's activities and they have been offered great support from hotels, caterers and tour companies.

Last week, another Chinese company Tiens sent 6,400 of its best salespeople for a vacation in France.

Team work was given a new twist last week, when the employees of a Chinese company made the word's longest sentence -- with their bodies -- and smashed the previous record.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Tiens Group, CEO Li Jinyuan last week treated more than 6,500 of his employees to a holiday in Nice, in the south of France.

During the holiday, which reportedly cost 13 million euros, 6,262 of Li's employees spelt the phrase "Tiens's dream is Nice in the Cote d'Azure".

The spectacle even caught the attention of the French government.
