A Chinese medical team has treated 83 people since arriving in Nepal on Monday, said Chinese health authorities.[Special coverage]
The 58-strong Chinese team set up a makeshift hospital in one of the worst-hit areas, said the Sichuan provincial health department.
The health professionals are from hospitals, disease prevention centers and the provincial health department in Sichuan.
China has also sent military personnel to Nepal to assist the rescue operations.
Saturday's earthquake has killed at least 4,264 people and injured 7,000 in Nepal, according to the Nepal Home Ministry National Emergency Operation Center on Tuesday.
