Chinese President Xi Jinping and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have talked over phone, discussing the situation in Yemen.
During the phone call yesterday, Xi urged him to accelerate a political settlement on the issue, based on relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. He said China is willing to closely coordinate with all parties concerned to push for an appropriate solution.
Salman said Saudi Arabia is willing to push for a swift implementation of UN resolutions, to restore stability in Yemen.
