Student kills one, hurts 5 in knife attack

A Kunming Medical University student killed one person and injured 5 others with a dagger after storming into a teaching building on Thursday afternoon, Kunming police said on its official Sina Weibo account.

The injured, among whom 3 were seriously wounded, are undergoing medical treatment. The suspect, 20, has been detained. According to investigators he is from Hubei province and suffers from depression.
