SW China official under investigation

Yang Wenhu, an official in southwest China's Yunnan Province, is under investigation for alleged "serious discipline violations," Yunnan's anti-graft authorities confirmed on Monday.

Yang was formerly deputy head of the provincial publicity department.

China is carrying out an unprecedented campaign against corruption, targeting both high-ranking and minor officials.
