More than ten people were buried following a scaffold collapse in a construction site of Tsinghua High School in Beijing on Monday, local authorities said.

The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m., with casualties likely. Witnesses saw many ambulances and fire engines at the site.

A rescuer told Xinhua that at least four injured people were sent to the hospital.
