Pu'er to build coffee town

According to relevant departments, the Conceptual Plan of Pu'er Coffee Town has recently been worked out and approved by the Pu'er Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development upon examination.

According to the sources, the coffee town proposed will be built next to Malanqing Reservoir in the south of Simao district and include seven functional zones such as a Coffee Museum, a Coffee Culture Street, and a Coffee Viewing and Picking Corridor. With a total planned area of 2,235.7 mu and a construction area of 316 mu, the town will be constructed in three phases.
