    The International Olympic Committee has approved plans for a more flexible sports program while imposing a limit of 10,500 athletes.
    


    The IOC will drop the limit of 28 sports for the Summer Games and favor an "events-based" system that would allow the 2020 Games in Tokyo to include baseball and softball.
