Chinese version of big data text to be published

The Chinese version of Learning with Big Data: The Future of Education will be published this year by East China Normal University Press.

The book describes how big data can reshape education. It was written by big data expert Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, professor of Internet Governance and Regulation at the University of Oxford, who is also the author of Big Data: A Revolution That Transforms How we Work.

"Data provides us with probabilistic predictions to make decisions for the future", Mayer-Schönberger said in a recent speech at East China Normal University.
