Bid committee releases promotion video for 2022 Winter Olympics

Beijing Municipality and Zhangjiakou in neighboring Hebei province are strong contenders to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. The joint bid committee has now released its official promotion video on its website.

If their bid is successful, Beijing would stage the ice events, and most of the snow events would take place in Chongli county, Zhangjiakou. These include Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding, Nordic Combined skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Ski Jumping and the Biathlon. Beijing's Yanqing County would be the venue for the Alpine Skiing and sliding sports, like the bob-sleigh.
