Digital devices installed at vegetable farms

Beijing plans to build a number of "intelligent vegetable farms" in the city's suburbs, which will help farmers better monitor their agricultural growth, reported the Beijing Suburbs Daily.

A total of eight "intelligent farms" have already been implemented in Shunyi, Changping, Daxing and Tongzhou districts. Farmers will be able to receive information on the daily temperatures and humidity on farms, as well as when they should water and apply fertilizer to their vegetables.

Consumers can also study the environment for growing vegetables via these devices.
