China, Vietnam to further cooperation in combating crimes

China and Vietnam's ministers of public security agreed on Monday to push forward cooperation in combating crime.

Guo Shengkun, China's State Councilor and Minister of Public Security, called on the two sides to earnestly protect each other's institutions, enterprises and citizens in their own countries, practically promote cooperation in law enforcement and security fields to contribute to China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership.

Guo said at the forth China-Vietnam public security ministerial meeting on cooperation against crime that he hopes the two sides will make good use of the meeting mechanism to enrich cooperation in relevant fields.

Tran Dai Quang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vietnamese Minister of Public Security, said Vietnam is willing to further strengthen cooperation with China in fighting crime and safeguarding social order.
