First female J-10 pilots to give aerobatic display

China's first group of female fighter pilots to fly the J-10 fighter jet will give an aerobatic display during the 10th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, between Nov 11 and 16, Xinhua News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The five women, who have just joined the PLA August 1st Air Demonstration Team, all have more than 750 hours of flying experience in four types of aircraft, according to Shen Jinke, spokesman for China's Air Force.

China enrolled its first female pilots in 1951 and since then more than 500 female pilots have carried out flight missions.
