9 people missing after boat capsizes near S China’s Zhuhai

Nine people have gone missing after a boat capsized near southern China's Zhuhai City in Guangdong province.

Police say all the passengers are mainland residents who were trying to sneak back into the mainland after working illegally in Macao. Ten people were on board, but only one passenger has been found so far on the coast of Zhuhai.

The Coast Guard has mobilized 7 ships and a helicopter to search for the passengers. Police have so far found two life jackets and the capsized boat. We will keep you updated with the latest developments as this story unfolds.
