One dead, 23 injured in China bus, truck collision

A truck driver died when his truck crashed into a bus in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Thursday, the local government said in a press release.

Twenty-three people on the bus were hospitalized with injuries, including three serious cases, it said.

The accident happened at 3:30 p.m. on a highway in Zouxu Township of Binyang County. Both vehicles had Guangxi license plates.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and police have yet to identify the victims.
