E China senior political advisor under investigation

Han Xiancong, a senior political advisor of east China's Anhui Province, is under investigation for suspected serious discipline and law violation, the discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said Saturday.

Han is vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

The CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said this in a brief news bulletin on its website.
