National Museum of China ranks No.3 among the world's top 20 museums

National Museum of China in Beijing ranks the third place among the world's top 20 most visited museums in 2013, according to a report released by Themed Entertainment Association recently.

The Louvre in Paris is the world's most visited museum, followed by the National Museum of Natural History in Washington and the National Museum of China in Beijing. The National Air and Space Museum in Washington, the British Museum in London, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York ranks the fourth, fifth and sixth places respectively.

National Museum of China in Beijing has the highest growth rate among the world's top 20 most visited museums, with visitors increasing 38.7 percent to 7.45 million last year.
