A train derailment on Wednesday night has led to the halt of three passenger trains in northeast China's Heilongjiang province, local authorities said.

The accident happened at around 10:45pm, when a freight train numbered 40291 went out of track in the Chenqing-Qingxi section in Heihe City. Casualties are not immediately known.
