6 killed, 6 injured in Yunnan road accident

Six people were killed and six others were injured when two vehicles collided on Sunday morning in Shilin County of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

At about 7 a.m., a mini-bus and a truck crashed into each other on a highway in Shilin, said the county's press office.

The driver and five passengers in the mini-bus died at the scene. The injured people have been sent to a local hospital.

An investigation into the accident is under way.
