Locals love taxi apps

Shanghai residents are the most active users of taxi hailing mobile apps in China, as more than 70 percent of local people use the apps at least once a week, according to a report by IT research center CNIT-Research.

Nearly 45 percent of users in Shanghai employ the apps three times a week or less. About 20 percent use the apps four or five times a week. Less than 10 percent use the apps every day, the report said.
