Former city official in Hubei investigated

The case of former deputy secretary general of Shiyan City in central China's Hubei Province has been passed to the judiciary for further investigation of suspected crimes, the provincial antigraft body said on Tuesday.

Zhou Jitong was earlier investigated over serious discipline violations, the supervision department of the Hubei provincial government said.
