Chinese energy company to make impression during World Cup

Chinese energy company Yingli Green Energy has eyed the upcoming Brazil World Cup the best marketing place.

As the sole Chinese sponsor at the soccer extravaganza, the manufacturer of the vertically integrated photovoltaic (PV) module has provided 27 sets of photovoltaic systems for lighting devices in all the hosting cities and installed 8 to 15 solar charging stations at the media centers in six stadiums, including the stadium in Sao Paulo, according to Liang Tian, the public relations director.

Outside the stadiums, the company offered photovoltaic modules to the parking lot in downtown Rio de Janeiro, which is the first and also the largest PV parking lot in this country.

During the World Cup, the company's advertisement board will be shown in each of the 64 games.
