Restaurant blast injures 11 in Beijing

At least 11 people were injured after a gas explosion occurred in a restaurant in Tongzhou District, eastern Beijing, Friday morning.

Police said the blast at about 7:20am toppled the makeshift house, injuring people inside and passers-by. Two people suffered severe injuries.

The fire has been extinguished. And the cause of the explosion is under investigation.
