    US First Lady Michelle Obama has continued her tour of China, travelling to the ancient capital of Xi'an in northwest Shaanxi province. She visited on Monday the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors, and met local students on the City Wall.

    Like other visitors, US First Lady and her family members were amazed stepping into the huge quansit that covers the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum.

    The Obama's wanted to know more about the secrets about this legendary army that was buried 22-hundred years ago to celebrate the reign of China's first emperor Qing Shihuang .

    Tourists from both home and abroad believe her tour will enhance the mutual cultural exchanges.

    "By visiting the symbolic culture heritage like the imperial palace and Terra Cotta Warriors, foreign visitors will know more about Chinese history." Wang Wenbin, tourist said.

    "The US First Lady was also interested in how Chinese archaeologists and restores were able to repair preserve the broken warriors. One of the astounding features of the thousands of warriors that each has a unique face and expression that had been frozen in time." Judy Kratchman, American tourist said.

    After the visit, Obama travelled to downtown Xi'an to walk the ancient city wall where she took in a local folk show on kite flying, and talked with middle school students about their studies, their leisure activities. Many students presented the first lady and her daughters with their calligraphy and drawings to the Michelle and her daughters, in return they received some inspiration.

    "The First Lady wishes that Chinese students and American students can have more communications. She hoped we could go to study in US and more American students come to study here. She encouraged us young people to build a better world with confidence." Lei Yiran, Student said.

    Later Obama and her daughters joined in a folk dance performance.
