Six dead, one injured in central China road accident

Six people died and one was injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a car in Loudi City, central China's Hunan Province on Friday evening, said local police on Saturday.

The accident happened in downtown Loudi at about 21:10 p.m. Friday. Six people in the car were killed on the spot, according to local police.

One injured person was sent to hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
