Toronto route to launch

China Eastern Airlines will launch a route from Shanghai to Toronto at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on June 25, according to a press release from the airline.

With the route, China Eastern Airlines will become the first local carrier to fly to Toronto. The route will have three flights each week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline will also increase its number of flights to New York and Los Angeles from seven to 10 per week.
