    Chickens did not die from H7N9 virus: authorities

    Around 6,000 chickens that died at a farm in Guangzhou's Luogang district did not die from the H7N9 virus, China News Service reported.

    "The chickens might have been killed by the cold weather as the farm boss failed to provide enough facilities to keep the chickens warm when the mercury suddenly dropped greatly in the past few days," health authorities said.
