Student found dead

Shanghai University confirmed that the woman found dead Wednesday in a lake on its Baoshan district campus was a graduate student at the school.

Cleaning staff found the student's body Wednesday morning, according to a university statement. A suicide note was found in her dormitory room.

Police have begun investigating the case.
