The nuclear deal between Iran and world powers will "open new horizons," Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in his twitter page Sunday morning.

"Iranian people's vote for moderation, constructive engagement, (and) tireless efforts by negotiating teams are to open new horizons," Rouhani tweeted.

Iran and P5+1, or the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany, announced they have reached a deal early Sunday morning after five days of marathon talks in Geneva.

The United States and its allies will afford Iran with sanctions relief equivalent to 7 billion U.S. dollars under the terms of the six-month nuclear deal, according to a White House statement.

In exchange, Iran will halt nuclear enrichment above five percent in purity, it added.

"Iran's uranium enrichment agreement was recognized," Abbas Araqchi, Iran's nuclear negotiator and deputy foreign minister, was quoted by official IRNA news agency as saying without elaboration. But U.S. Secretary of States John Kerry denied the deal gives Iran a right to enrich uranium.

Full text of the deal is yet to be revealed.
