    10 dead in Xinjiang road accident

    Ten people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Monday morning, local authorities said.
    


    A cement mixer rear-ended a motor tricycle and then collided with a minibus at 7:45 a.m. in Kuytun city, according to the municipal government.
    


    The injured were sent to local hospitals for treatment.
